Soul Choirs is growing! We are excited to launch 4 new choir branches in King's Cross (Thursday evenings), Brockley (Thursday evenings). King's Hill (Monday evenings) and Margate (Monday evenings) from January 2024.

These 4 areas will compliment and extend the range of our current branches in Central London (London Bridge), Greater London (Hither Green and Greenwich), Mid Kent (Maidstone and Rochester) and East Kent (Whitstable and Canterbury) for more local community to enjoy.

Our current choirs have already performed in and around these locations at events such as Brockley Max festival and Dreamland Margate, and we have had many subsequent requests to bring our unique soul infused community choirs to these areas.

We cannot wait to get these 4 new choirs started in January with weekly rehearsals leading up to some exciting local performances at Easter 2024!

Along with the new branches, we welcome two new choir leaders; Taryn Ryan who will run the new Brockley branch and take over the Hither Green branch, and Michael Bascom who we welcome as our new West Kent leader to run our already established Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells branches.

We are thrilled that our mid Kent leader Eleanor will be heading up the new choir in Kings Hill following her recent promotion to ‘Senior Leader’ in recognition of her amazing work growing Maidstone and Rochester choirs and establishing Tunbridge Wells choir. Our Musical Director, Ross, will be leading the new Margate branch which will be an exciting addition to our thriving East Kent Choirs, and our much loved Central London leader Greg will be extending his choir leading to King's Cross as an additional ‘after work’ choir alongside London Bridge.

One of the great benefits of Soul Choirs membership is the ability to be able to attend ANY of our choir locations each week should members be in a different location from their home choir, or just fancy an extra sing! We all learn the same songs at the same pace so everyone can keep up with the learning wherever they go and enjoy the same high quality and fun teaching with the additional individual personality of each leader. Not only are all our leaders fantastic singers and teachers, they are also great pianists too meaning our members always learn accompanied by their leader - a far superior method for learning and for establishing and working on a great group sound compared to learning just to backing tracks.
