Raising funds for worthwhile causes through UK Soul Choirs

Raising money for charity has always been a big part of UK Soul Choir's core. Abi, our Founder and Director, wants to use her talents for good and, as well as bringing people together through song, she’s keen to use the choir’s performances to bring awareness and raise funds for various organisations. Since the choir's beginnings 13 years ago, we have proudly raised tens of thousands of pounds for both national and local charities which are usually suggested by our members themselves.

This Spring term, we have chosen the wonderful charity, Meningitis Now. Sadly, one of our founding members from our Whitstable choir lost her precious Niece just after Christmas. Mia was a beautiful, healthy, 20 year old girl and, sadly, after contracting Meningitis B, lost her life in a matter of days.

The whole community has been rocked by Mia’s sudden passing and the family are on a mission to raise funds in her name for Meningitis Now. UK Soul Choirs want to support that mission and, therefore, are proud to be able to use their platforms to support this incredible cause.
