Hither Green Soul Choir was founded in 2014 out of a need for a contemporary evening choir in Lewisham and now has a membership of over 60 singers!

Hither Green choir is very welcoming to new members and you'll find a fun and supportive singing community. Hither Green is sister choir to Greenwich, who meet on a Tuesday and Brockley who meet on a Thursday evening. Hither Green choir is run by our lovely leader, Eleanor, and you are welcome to drop in to any of our London sessions, as all choirs work at a similar pace and share online resources. If you are thinking of trying out choir, don’t be scared and don’t worry if you think your voice isn’t good enough. I remember how freaked out I was the first time I came along and literally within minutes I was made to feel so comfortable and welcome. You can always blend into the background for a couple of sessions to build your confidence and you’ll never be put on the spot!
