Kim, our wonderful Margate Choir Helper, has been working hard getting something fabulous in place for our Thanet based East Kent Soul Choirs to enjoy and here it is...
'THE SOCIAL' at OBLY'S, MARGATE
Friday, March 7th, Old Town, 3-5 King St, Margate CT9 1DD, 7pm
“Capturing the essence of black dance music from the 30s to the present day”
Spend an evening with fellow members as you go on a musical journey. From swing to rhythm & blues, rock n roll to boogaloo, with some ska & 60’s soul!
DJ Jerome and Lindsay will be your hosts for the evening with guest DJ TBC.
You can book a table at the Soul Cafe before the start of the event if you'd like to have a meal (see website)
Doors open at 7pm so we suggest you arrive then to grab a good space. Hope you can make it, just turn up and have a great time - looks like it will be brilliant night!
