Soul Choirs 15th Birthday Concert - East and Mid Kent

SIGN-UP DETAILS

• The sign-up form (link at bottom of the email) will open on Sunday, 19th January, at 10:00 AM.
• Please complete the form and pay the required fee promptly to secure your place.
• Important: Your place is confirmed only once you’ve submitted the form and payment. Places are limited to 250 due to the size of the venue.
• The form will close when capacity is reached, so act quickly.
• The Concert Cover Charge is non-refundable and non-transferable.

CONCERT DETAILS

To cover the unusually high costs involved in staging a special event like this, we must ask participating members to pay a Concert Cover Charge of £10 (plus transaction fees). This contribution helps with the cost of:

• The mass rehearsal, 10:30-1pm on Sunday 23rd March @ The Langton Grammar School for Boys, Canterbury CT4 7AS
• The concert itself

While we do everything possible to minimise expenses, this fee is essential to deliver a high-quality event. All profits will be donated to our designated charity, Action for Children, ensuring that your contribution supports a meaningful cause.

You will receive an email after submitting the form. This is both receipt of payment and proof of participation.

Key Participation Requirements:

• Attending the mass rehearsal is not compulsory but is highly recommended. It will be your only opportunity to practise fully with the band.
• On concert day, you must arrive at the venue by 2:00 PM.
• Important: If you cannot arrive by 2:00 PM, you will not be able to participate due to the complexity of staging and coordination.

If you cannot attend the concert, we will still offer at least one pop-up Easter performance as an alternative.

AFTER-PARTY

Celebrate the birthday concert with us at the 'Soul Choir's Birthday After Party!'

• Time: 9:45 PM – 11:30 PM (immediately after the concert).
• Where: Readmission at the venue
• Tickets: Available soon for members and guests (advance purchase only).
• Enjoy DJ Deano, the fantastic soul DJ, and celebrate with your fellow members!

AUDIENCE TICKETS

• Audience tickets for your supporters are now available via the Soul Choirs Events page.
• As tickets are expected to sell out quickly, please purchase as soon as possible.  

MID KENT MEMBERS – COACH OPTION

• Please let us know on the form if you’d like a coach service to and from the venue. Return tickets only.
  • This service would be available for both members and guests.
  • Note: Guests cannot enter the venue during rehearsal time and must make their own arrangements during this period.
• If there is sufficient interest, we will explore options and notify you of costs.

IMPORTANT NOTES

• First come, first served: Sign-ups will be prioritised in order of submission.
• If we exceed capacity, priority may be given to longer-standing Soul Choir members.
• If the form has closed, email us to be added to the wait list.
