Come and enjoy a celebratory event in Whatman Park, marking the 25th Anniversary of the Maidstone River Park in 2026.

There'll be live entertainment on the Riverstage, including the Invicta Jazz Orchestra, Kent Soul Choirs, Greenwood, Hilton Hall Dance Academy, Tow Rag (a pirate band!) and Jack Harrison, as well as a roving magician!

There will also be stalls and displays from local charities and organisations, all with an association to the river.

FREE family fun - bring a picnic and a blanket or chairs and enjoy the day

Performance Dress Code:
Grab your glitter, sparkle and sunglasses, and let's bring those festival vibes to the concert! ✨😎 Casual purple, white and black clothing - Soul Choir t shirts and hoodies if you have them, please. We ask for no blue jeans to be worn at any event and that anything purple is true purple and not blue - as close to Cadbury's purple as possible. No bold or colourful patterns but lace and subtle embossing in the colours mentioned above are fine.
Members Information:

Please meet, ready to sing, at the stone seating near the staging area under the large white canopy at 3pm and look out for Eleanor (or me!). You can enjoy the concert from 2pm - bring a blanket and a picnic  This is a free performance and family and friends are welcome - it should be a lovely event!

GETTING THERE - There is local parking available in town car parks with the nearest being James Whatman Way or it's a 15 minute walk from Maidstone East train station.
