UK Choir Festival - London Members
We have decided not to run our annual summer Festival of Singing this year. Instead, we are planning a weekend trip to the UK Choir Festival in St Albans on Sat 17th and Sun 18th October!
We took a small group last year, including some London members who made their own way there, and I think they would all agree it was a fantastic trip - working with and learning from incredible singing practitioners and professional leaders from all over the country (our very own Abi was part of the wonderful team last year!).
This year, the Festival is celebrating its 10th Anniversary, so they are hosting a full weekend of workshops, ending in glorious style with a grand concert in stunning St Albans Cathedral!
The workshop days comprise sessions with some of the country’s top choir directors and leaders, and choirs travel from all over the UK - and even the world - to take part. The line-up is fantastic, and you can see what to expect HERE
If you would like to attend and join in the fun, you can purchase a ticket through us using the Collctiv link below. As we get a group rate, the cost for the whole weekend of workshops and participation (assuming we have a large enough choir) in the concert is £99 (rrp £129). Registration on both days is 9am with the day ending at 6pm on the Saturday and 10pm on the Sunday following the concert.
Depending on uptake, there may be an opportunity to stay overnight and join the Kent group for an evening meal on the Saturday.
